Overview

This website is operated by Stefan Grunert from Norway. Norway is part of the European Economic Area (EEA), therefore the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.

Hosting

This website is hosted on a server by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). When accessing the site, technically necessary data such as IP address, browser type, and access time are recorded in server log files.

User Account

A user account is required to use the app. Your username, email address, and learning progress are stored. This data is necessary for the app's functionality (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

AI Processing

Parlarina uses the OpenAI API for language conversations, text analysis, and speech synthesis. Conversation content is transmitted to OpenAI (USA). OpenAI processes this data according to their privacy policy and does not store API request data for training purposes.

Cookies

This website uses technically necessary session cookies for authentication and security. With consent, local browser data (for example language, theme, and learning UI preferences) may also be stored. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Newsletter

When subscribing to the newsletter, we store your email address, selected language, and consent evidence (timestamp, IP address, consent version, user agent). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time (for example via unsubscribe link or email).

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your personal data. Contact [email protected] for requests. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
